Katti Batti First Weekend (3 Days) Box Office Collection: Not At All Impressive

Expectations were very high with Katti Batti as it starred Kangana Ranaut who had given two back to back hits with Queen and Tanu Weds Manu Returns. But the movie failed to generate the interest among Indian audience.

Imran Khan and Kangana Ranaut's Katti Batti, which got released in 2600 screens in India, collected just 5.48 crore on its opening day.

It was expected that the movie will perform well on Saturday at the Box Office but the movie was able to generate only 5.48 crore on its second day. On Sunday Katti Batti gathered around 5.74 crore. The 3-day box office collections of the movie now bases at Rs 16.5 crore.

Talking about the movie, famous trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,'' "#KattiBatti biz hardly witnesses much growth on Sat. Fri 5.28 cr, Sat 5.48 cr. Total: ₹ 10.76 cr. India biz."

Katti Batti got mixed reviews from the film critics and the movie relied heavily on the word of mouth publicity. But Nikhil Advani's previous week release Hero which starred newcomers Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi performed better than this flick.
