Tamasha First Day (Opening) Box Office Collection: Well Performed!

Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer Tamasha has hit the theatres on Friday (November 27, 2015) and rather did a good job at the Indian Box Office. Read here to know, how far the movie managed to mint the money!

The film directed by Imtiaz Ali, released in over 2100 screens in India and opened to an occupancy rate of an average of 90% which is just amazing. The film has got positive responses from the live audiences as well as at the ticket counters everywhere.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to his micro blogging site, Twitter and reported the collection of Tamasha and wrote, "#Tamasha Fri ₹ 10.87 cr. Strong at plexes/metros. India biz.."

He also reported the overseas collection and wrote, "#Tamasha - UK: Fri £ 72,470 [₹ 72.91 lacs]. AUSTRALIA: Thu A$ 13,384, Fri A$ 48,643. Total: A$ 62,027 [₹ 29.87 lacs]... NEW ZEALAND: Thu NZ$ 1,350, Fri NZ$ 10,086. Total: NZ$ 11,436 [₹ 5 lacs]."

Till date, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which collected an amount of Rs 19.81 crores on its opening day, has been the biggest opener for Ranbir Kapoor.

Apart from Ranbir-Deepika's chemistry and Imtiaz Ali's direction, the music of the film, which is being composed by AR Rahman also proved as the plus point of the film. According to the audience reviews, Ranbir stands tall in this romantic-drama flick and has given his career best performance. As far as Deepika's role is concerned, she has once again proved that why she is referred as the ‘Queen'of the Bollywood!
