Ranbir Kapoor's Tamasha did a rather decent job on its first day (Friday) but has failed to beat the first day collection of Ranbir's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which has earned Rs 19.45 crores. While, Tamasha bags Rs 10 crores on its opening day.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to his micro blogging site, Twitter and reported the first day (Friday) collection of Tamasha and wrote, "#Tamasha Fri ₹ 10.87 cr. Strong at plexes/metros. India biz.."
Reportedly, the occupancy in the morning and afternoon shows was better than the opening day and the film saw a modest increase in the collection. Considering the advantage of weekend, Tamasha's collection was better on Saturday.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh reports the collection as, "#Tamasha stays strong at plexes/metros. Witnesses 21% growth. Fri 10.87 cr, Sat 13.17 cr. Total: ₹ 24.04 cr. India biz."
Ranbir-Deepika starrer Tamasha, which is directed by Imtiaz Ali, is getting positive responses from the viewers and chances are high that Tamasha will end up collecting more money on Sunday.
