Roy First Day Box Office Collection: Superb

The movie Roy starring Arjun Rampal, Ranbir Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez has hit the theatres amidst a lot of Box Office expectations.

Directed by Vikramjit Singh, Roy witnessed a considerable occupancy on the first day of its release and enjoyed a superb Box Office business on its first day.

The movie Roy witnessed occupancy of almost 50 percent in the multiplexes on its opening day which is a decent start as it's a normal weekday.

Arjun Rampal, Ranbir Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Roy created a lot of hype since the release of its trailer and the film's wonderful music further worked in its favour.

Although, Roy received mixed response from the critics, the film's first day Box Office collection was one if the highest. The movie Roy made a Box Office collection of Rs 10.40 crores on its opening day that is on Friday.

The romantic thriller, Roy happens to be the first directorial venture of Vikramjit Singh, while, it's the first film of Arjun Rampal and Ranbir Kapoor after a long gap.

It is expected that Roy's Box Office collection will witness further hike in the weekends, Saturday being Valentine's Day.
