Roy First Weekend (3 Days) Box Office Collection

Multi-starrer movie Roy featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez has been enjoying wonderful Box Office collection since its opening day.

Directed by Vikramjit Singh, Roy is a very hyped movie and the film's Box Office collection reflects the same. However, the India-Pakistan cricket match on Sunday affected Roy's Box Office earning on the last day of the weekend.

Released just a day before Valentine's Day, Roy made a fine start with an opening Box Office collection of Rs 10.40 crores on Friday with an occupancy of almost 50 percent.

As expected, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Roy witnessed a hike in Box Office business on Saturday that is on its second day with a collection of Rs 11.16 crores in the domestic market.

While, first day of the weekend that is Saturday, being Valentine's Day, offered good business to Roy, Sunday was not so blissful for the makers of Roy due to the India-Pakistan World Cup match.

Roy's Box Office collection suffered a sharp fall on Sunday that is third day, making a business of Rs 7.12 crores in the domestic market. Thus, Roy's total first weekend, that is three days Box Office collection stands at 28.68 crores.

The movie Roy did not receive much of positive reviews from the critics which might affect the film's Box Office collection in the coming days.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Released in 2013, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is the fourth biggest opening films of all time with a collection of Rs 198.1 million on its first day. The film then made a record collection of Rs 630 million over the first weekend.

Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani

Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif is a romantic comedy which made total Box Office business of Rs 620 million across India. It was declared a super hit.

Barfi

The film Barfi not only received positive reviews from critics, it also enjoyed good Box Office business. Making an opening day collection of Rs 85.6 millon, the film made a business of Rs 340 million over the first weekend.

Raajneeti

This film also had Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal together, making an opening day collection of Rs 10 crore on its first day. The first weekend collection was Rs 34 crore.

Rockstar

Rockstar opened up with a collection of Rs 100 million on the first day. The film's total first weekend collection was Rs 337.5 million.
