Shaandaar 4 Days Box Office Collections: DISAPPOINTING

Expectations were very high with Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's recently released film Shaandaar. The movie which had the benefit of a Dusshera holiday failed to do any wonders at the box office and had disappointing collections.

The film which opened in theatres on 22nd October managed to collect only Rs 33 Crores in the first four days of its release.

The first day box office collection of Shaandaar was 13.10 crores. But due to the poor reviews the movie got, collections dipped on Friday and was Rs 7. 55 Crores. On Saturday, it collected Rs. 6.75 Crores and it was expected that the movie will perform well on Sunday but it dipped further and made only Rs. 6.11 Crores.

Talking about Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's Shaandaar, famous trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, ''#Shaandaar Thu 13.10 cr [holiday], Fri 7.55 cr, Sat 6.75 cr, Sun 6.11 cr. Total: ₹ 33.51 cr. India biz. DISAPPOINTING!''

Reportedly, Shaandaar was made on a budget of Rs 55 Crores and Rs 20 Crores was spent on the promotions. So, the movie can still recover its cost as there is no big release till November 12th when Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will release.
