Shaandaar Saturday (3 Days) Box Office Collection: Not So Shaandaar!
Shahid Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer Shaandaar, which created much hype before its release could not mint much money on its third day Box Office collection. The film directed by Vikas Bahl, released on October 22, 2015 earned Rs 13.10 Crores on the opening day (Thursday), and Rs 7.55 crore on its second day (Friday).
"Big drop in collections of #Shaandaar on day 2. Rejected by the public," trade analyst Komal Nahta reported in her micro-blogging site, Twitter.
Initially, this Shahid-Alia starrer quirky flick was expected to have an opening weekend box office collection of approximately Rs 50 crore, but now it seems like that the film won't be able to touch that point!
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh, took to his micro blogging site and reported the Box-Office collection of Shaandaar at Box Office and wrote, #Shaandaar Thu 13.10 cr, Fri 7.55 cr. Total: ₹ 20.65 cr. India biz."
Interestingly, in spite of getting mixed reviews, the fans of Shahid & Alia are still rushing to theatres to witness their quirky chemistry and as it was weekend yesterday so it is expected that Shaandaar would have minted more money yesterday. Keep watching this space to get more updates.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also features Shahid's dad Pankaj Kapoor and sister Sanah Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor in the key roles.
