Shamitabh Day One Box Office Collection: Moderate

Shamitabh directed by R.Balki has got mixed reviews. Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush starrer Shamitabh is all about the ego clash between the duo.

Amitabh Bachchan has yet again proved his performance. Dhanush after Raanjhanaa strikes back with his excellent character in Shamitabh.

The film which released on February 6, 2015 has made a decent collection as far as the Box Office report is concerned. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that the film made Rs 3.5 Cr nett on day one.

Director Balki says,"It is the story of two egos of how two people clash and nobody can be successful indeed. Most people think they can do it alone, most people think they have done it all. It is not like that. Behind every successful person, there is a team."
