Tanu Weds Manu Returns opened to some great reviews thereby helping the opening collection to soar at the Indian Box Office.

Good reviews and word of mouth promotion helped the movie gross around Rs 8.75 crores on the opening day, Friday. Trade expert Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#TanuWedsManuReturns Fri ₹ 8.75 cr. India biz. Expect biz to multiply today [Sat]. Word of mouth is tremendous."

The film's Saturday collections are expected to pick up even more as the theaters ran houseful in most of the multiplexes. The film starring Kangana Ranaut. Madhavan, Jimmy Shergill and directed by Aanand L Rai has not only done well in India but also in the International markets.

Trade expert, Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#TanuWedsManuReturns is WONDERFUL in key international markets too. Friday: Aus A$ 40,168... NZ NZ$ 7,671... UK £ 34,607... USA $ 250,000."

He further reported the UAE + GCC collections to be 1.1 mn AED. This brings the overseas collection at the end of day 1 to Rs 3.50 crores.

From the looks, Saturday collections will be easily Rs 10 crores. So at the end of day 2, the film's total Box Office collections will be Rs 25 crores.

If the film continues to do well like this, it will beat Deepika Padukone's Piku collections at the Box Office.
