Welcome Back First Day (Opening) Box Office Collection: Excellent Start At BO
Welcome Back has obtained mixed reviews from viewers. While critics have outright degraded the movie, the viewers who enjoy slapstick comedy have managed to find the movie entertaining.
Welcome Back has released in over 3200 screens, which is quite a good number for a Bollywood movie. Anil Kapoor had recently told how the movie needs to become a hit at any cost and from what trade experts have observed, the negative reviews have not affected, the film is off to a decent start at the Indian Box Office.
The film, which features John Abraham, Shruti Haasan, Anil Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia, minted Rs.14.35 crore on its opening day, said a source from the production house.
Taran Adarsh reported, "#WelcomeBack has an EXCELLENT Day 1... Fri ₹ 14.35 cr. India biz... Biz should MULTIPLY further over the weekend. SUPER!"
He further reported the overseas collection as well, "#WelcomeBack has a SOLID start Overseas. Thu+Fri: $ 1.2 million [₹ 8 cr]. SUPERB!"
