Welcome Back First Weekend (3 Days) Box Office Collection
Welcome Back is the sequel of 2007 blockbuster Welcome. The movie which stars John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles is performing well at the Indian Box Office.
Welcome Back has become the third biggest opener at the Box Office after Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan which collected Rs 27.25 on the release day and Akshay Kumar's Brother which collected Rs 15.2 crore on it's first day.
The John Abraham starrer made Rs 14.35 crore on the first day and the movie made 17.05 crore at the Box Office on Saturday. While on Sunday it performed even better and made 19.60 cr.
Welcome Back Movie Review: Mind-Numbingly Dull & Boring
Welcome Back is released in over 3,500 cinema halls in India and around 500 screens in the international markets. Talking about the movie, Taran Adarsh reported on Twitter, "#WelcomeBack packs a SOLID punch. Fri 14.35 cr, Sat 17.05 cr, Sun 19.60 cr. Total: Rs 51 cr. India biz. EXTRAORDINARY!"
Taran Adarsh also wrote about Welcome Back's performance in overseas market, ''#WelcomeBack has a SOLID start Overseas. Thu+Fri: $ 1.2 million [₹ 8 cr]. SUPERB!''
Even after receiving mixed reviews from the critics, Anees Bazmi's Welcome Back recorded over 15 percent growth in collections on the second day i.e Saturday.
