Ranbir Singh, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is all set to hit the screens tomorrow (28th October) along with Ajay Devgn's Shivaay. As per the trade experts the movie will give a tough competition to Shivaay. It has been said that ADHM can also become the highest earning film in Karan Johar's career.
However, many trade pandits also feel that the first three days will not yield huge numbers as people will be busy with Diwali but it can hit the jackpot on the day after Diwali. It is expected that on its first day, the movie will earn around 15 Crores even in a clash situation with Shivaay but the only debate will be, which movie, Shivaay or Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will gross more.

Censor Certificate Leaked
Very recently, the censor certificate of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was leaked on the Internet. It showed 5 cuts with a major 50 percent cut on Anushka Sharma's smooching scenes in the movie.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil took a direct hit because of the unfortunate URI attacks. After the attacks MNS threatened Karan Johar that it would not allow ADHM to be released because of Pakistani artist Fawad Khan.
Fawad Khan's Controversy
Not just did MNS threaten to ban the movie, it also gave a 48 hours ultimatum to Fawad Khan and all the other Pakistani actors to leave India.
After MNS' warnings and protests, the Cinema Exhibitors Association too took a decision that they would not run the film in single screens in cities like Mumbai and Pune.
5 Crores Fine
Later, MNS told Karan Johar to donate Rs 5 crore to the Indian Army Welfare Foundation as a fine for taking a Pakistani artist in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Bachchan Family Upset
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor have many intimate scenes in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Many reports claimed that the Bachchan family is very upset with Aishwarya because of it.
Amitabh Bachchan Pissed Off
It is said that Amitabh Bachchan shared the posters and trailers of Aishwarya's Jazbaa and Sarbjit but this time he didn't even say a word about the movie.
The movie also made headlines when Ajay Devgn leaked a tape in whick KRK is heard saying that Karan Johar paid him money to bad-mouth Shivaay and praise ADHM.

Talking about the movie a trade expert told Bollywood Life, ''Honestly the two days before Diwali are not supposed to be good for business at all. Even on the Diwali day, people get busy in the evening. The day after Diwali is when the hurricane strikes at the box office. So to expect great numbers on the first three days is not practical."
Karan Johar's movies are basically meant for the audiences of multiplexes. And as far as the promotions and marketing activities are concerned it's bang on target. Even the controversial news about its ban has kept the movie in continuous limelight.
As per reports, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is releasing in around 2500 screens in India and around 1000 screens overseas.
