Dangal First Day (Opening) Box Office Collection: Excellent!

Aamir Khan has proved once again that he is a genius! His recently released movie Dangal has created a storm at the box office. Dangal has been touted as one of the finest films of the year, both by the critics and the audiences.Talking about the movie, Taran Adarsh tweeted, ''#Dangal wrestles demonetisation. Sets the BO on fire. Ends the lull phase. Fri 29.78 cr [incl 59 lacs from Tamil and Telugu].''

The movie released in India on 23 December and a day earlier in the overseas markets. Based on the life of wrestler and coach Mahavir Singh Phogat, Dangal released across 1000 screens overseas from which the North American, UAE/ GCC, UK and Australia circuits saw the widest release. Talking about it, Taran Adarsh wrote, ''#Dangal takes a SUPERB start in key intl markets...UAE-GCC: Thu AED 2.5 million [ 4.62 cr] UK: Thu previews £ 118,487 [ 98.67 lacs]''
