Talking about Saala Khadoos's box office collection, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on twitter, ''#SaalaKhadoos biz jumps on Sunday. Biz almost doubles. [Hindi] Fri 1.28 cr, Sat 2.09 cr, Sun 2.42 cr. Total: ₹ 5.79 cr. India biz... contd.''

''#SaalaKhadoos is a focused release spread across 902 cinemas in India: Hindi [575] and Tamil [327] ... Overseas: 215 cinemas [Hindi], tweeted Taran Adarsh.''

Not many people know that Saala Khadoos is a launchpad of real life boxer Ritika Singh. Co-produced by Madhavan and Rajkumar Hirani, the film has been directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad. It released in Tamil with the title Irudhi Suttru.

The movie was released with Sunny Leone, Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das's adult comedy Mastizaade. But both the movies failed to make any mark at the box office.
