Teraa Surroor First Day (Opening) Box Office Collection

Teraa Surroor has not performed well on the opening day at the Indian Box Office in spite of facing zero competition.

The film was in the spotlight due to its lead actor, Himesh Reshammiya. This music director turning action hero for the film, developing six-pack abs and doing intimate scenes was the only reason people got to know about it.

The makers incorporated poor promotional strategies which affected the film in a very bad way. The other popular actors in the film and the lead actress were absent from the little promotions Teraa Surroor team did.

Apart from the good songs composed by Himesh this film has no good aspect say critics. The bad reviews which flooded from the morning shows have affected it's business very badly.

The highest viewers for the movie was in Gujarat and that too was low. Overall the occupancy during the morning shows were 5-10% which is very less, hinting that the Box Office collection on opening day might be just around Rs 1 crore.

The film has very less audience so even the word of mouth publicity is affected badly. According to polls conducted on Twitter 75% people are saying that they would not watch the movie and only 25% are interested.

The one thing that is working in favour of the makers is the low budget of the movie. According to Kamaal R Khan, the film's budget is Rs 11 crores out of which they have already recovered through music and satellite rights.

He tweeted, "#TeraaSurroor is winner by first show coz of controlled budget COP 6+5 P&A= 11Cr. Recovery- Music 6Cr+ Satellite 5Cr. All Theatrical profit."

So guess in a way there is no loss to the makers! By some luck if the occupancy increases over the evening shows and weekend, then the film can manage to have some decent collections.
