Shahrukh Khan's Raees is all set for the big clash with Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil tomorrow (25th Jan). But the important question is who will win the box office war?

Opening Of Both The Movies Might Not Be That Thunderous

Famous trade expert Vikas Mohan told Bollywood Life, "Jan 25 is a non-holiday. As the following day is a holiday, a lot of people will be coming out. That's a great situation for it to have. Opening might not be that thunderous because I feel Jan 26th will be the biggest day for both the films.''

Raees Is Slightly Higher Than Kaabil

‘'Right now, what I am hearing is that Raees is slightly higher than Kaabil, in terms of going in the final week of release. But that can change overnight or over a couple of shows. Because there is genuinely good feedback coming from both the films in terms their approach and standing.''

Word Of Mouth Are Great For Both The Films

‘'Buzz and word of mouth are great for both the films. I think it's a good clash. We have seen that in last few clashes, you could pick a clear winner. But this time, you can't pick a clear winner."

Let's Talk About The First Day Collections Of Raees & Kaabil

"Number-wise, on a non-holiday day, the highest total will be at around Rs. 25 Crores. So if you see, we could be looking at Raees on Rs. 12-15 Crores, while Kaabil can earn Rs. 11-13 Crores.''

Both The Films Can Earn 20 Crores Each On The National Holiday

‘'Next day, both the films could make Rs. 20 Crore each, and I am being conservative with numbers here. It could be on the higher side also. We will know about the winner eventually by the end of the weekend."

What About The Screen Count?

On a related note, it was earlier speculated that Raees might get more than 60% of the total screens, the final result is satisfying for both the films.

According to a daily, ''SRK's Raees has got 2600 screens whereas Kaabil will release in around 2300 screens. Rakesh Roshan's goodwill has worked in the film's favour and the exhibitors have also kept a slot free which will be given to either Kaabil or Raees, depending on the films' reception at the BO.''

''Raees dominates a little in the single screens but the division of screens at the multiplexes are almost at par, with 50-50 sharing between the two,'' the report stated.
