Fanney Khan Weekend Collection:
Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya teamed up for a film after 18 years in the form of Atul Manjrekar's Fanney Khan. But going by the looks of the first weekend collection of the film, it looks the film has failed to strike a chord with the audience. Reports suggest that Fanney Khan minted an estimated collection of Rs. 3 crores on Day 3. The total weekend collection of the film stands at an estimated Rs. 8-9 crores.
Fanney Khan Second Day Collection:
It looks the 'acche din' for Anil Kapoor-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Rajkummar Rao starrer Fanney Khan is yet to arrive at the box office. After a dismal opening collection of Rs. 2.75 crores, the film failed to impress on Day 2 as well. Early reports suggest that the film collected around Rs. 2.75 crores on Saturday as well.
Fanney Khan First Day Collection:
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Anil Kapoor have returned to the silver screen after a good 17 years, but it seems their collaboration for Fanney Khan didn't help the film much to get the high number of footfalls to the theatres. Fanney Khan, which is a remake of the Dutch movie, Everybody's Famous, hit the theatres on August 3, 2018, and we are here with the first day collection of the film and it's pretty disappointing!
Though the film witnessed less occupancy at the theatres, Aishwarya Rai starrer is surely leading at the theatres if compared with Mulk and Karwaan, owing to its star cast. Speaking of the first day collection, Taran Adarsh tweeted, "FanneyKhan has an extremely poor start... Fri ₹ 2.15 cr. India biz."
Trade analysts Girish Johar told Indian Express, "As of now, Fanney Khan is expected to lead on Friday. Since the film is packed with an ensemble cast including Anil, Rajkummar, Aishwarya and Divya Dutta who all are a powerhouse of acting, it will attract more audience."
Revealing the reason why Fanney Khan will lead at the theatres, Girish told, "Though all the films are catering to the same multiplex audience and the thinking audience, Fanney Khan will have more audience because of its content."
It's a known fact that word of mouth and the critics' reviews play a big role in the performance of any movie at the ticket counters. However, Fanney khan got a mixed response from the critics as well as the audience, who have already watched the movie.
