Sui Dhaaga Third Day Collection:

Varun Dhawan-Anushka Sharma's latest release, Sui Dhaaga has struck a chord with the audience. After earning an opening collection of Rs. 8.30 crores on Friday which was followed by Rs. 12.25 crores on Saturday, the film showed an excellent growth on Sunday minting Rs. 16.05 crores on Day 3.

Taran Adarsh wrote, "#SuiDhaaga witnesses EXCELLENT GROWTH... Day 2 + Day 3 biz is a clear indicator that its target audience [families] have helped multiply the biz... Day 3 is *almost double* of Day 1... Fri 8.30 cr, Sat 12.25 cr, Sun 16.05 cr. Total: ₹ 36.60 cr [2500 screens]. India biz."

In his second tweet, he wrote, "Although Day 4 [Mon] - the first working day after the weekend - is akin to an exam for all movies, #SuiDhaaga has an advantage of a big holiday tomorrow [Day 5; Gandhi Jayanti], so the real test will be from Day 6 [Wed] onwards... Biz on the national holiday is a BIG BONUS."

Sui Dhaaga Second Day Collection:

Varun Dhawan-Anushka Sharma's Sui Dhaaga saw an increase in its box office collection on Day 2. After grossing an opening collection of Rs. 8.30 crores on Friday, the movie minted Rs. 12.25 crores on Saturday taking the total box office collection to Rs. 20.55 crores.

Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#SuiDhaaga zooms upwards on Day 2... Catches speed at metros and mass belt... The target audience [families] have taken to the film, thus converting into increased footfalls... Expect a SOLID Day 3... Fri 8.30 cr, Sat 12.25 cr. Total: ₹ 20.55 cr [2500 screens]. India biz."

He further wrote, "#SuiDhaaga should have ₹ 35 cr [+/-] opening weekend, as per current trending... As mentioned earlier, the evening shows on Day 4 [Mon] should witness momentum, while Day 5 [Tue] - a national holiday [Gandhi Jayanti] - should record big numbers again."

Sui Dhaaga First Day Collection:

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma paired up for the first time for Sharat Katariya's Sui Dhaaga which hit the big screens yesterday (Friday). While the film received a mixed reaction from the critics, it opened on a rather encouraging note and seems to have worked its magic on the audience. Sui Dhaaga recorded Rs. 8.30 crore nett on Day 1 despite the Asia Cup final between India and Bangladesh.

Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle and posted, "#SuiDhaaga has an encouraging Day 1... Had an ordinary start in the morning shows, but gathered momentum as the day progressed... Film lost out on a big chunk of biz due to #AsiaCup2018 finals, but should recover lost ground on Day 2... Fri ₹ 8.30 cr [2500 screens]. India biz."

He further added, "While #SuiDhaaga is expected to grow on Day 2 and Day 3, its biz is expected to jump from Day 4 [Mon] *evening* onwards, since Day 5 [Tue] is a big national holiday: Gandhi Jayanti... A strong total is on the cards, if its target audience [families] throng cineplexes."
