Gully Boy Box Office Prediction: Ranveer-Alia's Film Expected To Mint Rs. 15 Crore On First Day!
If the early estimates are to be believed, Ranveer Singh- Alia Bhatt's Gully Boy is expected to mint Rs. 15 crore on its opening day.

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will be seen sharing screen space for the first time on the big screen in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy. The film has the 'Simmba' actor essaying the role of a street rapper. After winning rave reviews and applauses at Berlin International Film Festival, Gully Boy is all set to hit the theatrical screens on February 14, i.e Valentine's Day.
With the film making the right noise before its release, the trade analysts are expecting a grand opening for this Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt starrer.
Gully Boy Box Office Prediction (Day 1)
According to trade analyst Girish Johar, Gully Boy will get a terrific start on its first day of release. The film is expected to collect Rs 15 crore on its opening day and will maintain its stronghold with a positive word of mouth.

Johar told Indian Express, "Gully Boy has created quite a buzz and Ranveer Singh has gone all out promoting the film. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the Zoya Akhtar directorial. Suddenly, the theme of rap has become a craze and the songs of the film are doing their bit."
The Youth Will Definitely Go & Watch The Film
He said, "The film is releasing on a Thursday, which is neither a holiday nor a festival day. Although it's Valentines Day, it has no official status.
Still, I am expecting the film to do Rs 15 crore business on day one because the youth will definitely go and watch it. They will be attracted to the film very strongly. Rest is definitely based on the word of mouth."
Ranveer Singh Is A Crowd Puller
The trade analyst further said, "Ranveer Singh is the draw. I don't think anyone else would have created this style of hype with the character which he is playing in the film. He is very aggressively promoting it too.
The film is urban-based and he has promoted it in upcoming metro cities like Lucknow, Agra and Kanpur. He is trying to draw the youth from these cities as well and that is a good strategy. It will help him open the film better."
Gully Boy Has A Novelty Factor
He further added, "The lacklustre performance of the previous week's film will definitely be advantageous to Gully Boy. There's a small film, Hum Chaar by Rajshri Films but it poses no competition to Ranveer-Alia starrer.
If Gully Boy is done well, it will be a novelty for today's youth. They have seen hip hop only in the dance films and nothing has been made on this form of music recently."
