The Kashmir Files Day 11 Box Office Collection: Anupam Kher's Film Sets The Cash Registers Ringing

Despite new releases including Akshay Kumar's Bachchhan Paandey, Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files continues to have a successful run at the box office. The film which opened to glowing reviews from the critics, has turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters in recent times.

Ever since it released in cinema halls on March 11, the Anupam Kher-starrer has become the talk of the nation for its brave story-telling and humongous box office figures. Made on a budget of Rs. 25 Crore, the movie has not only faring well in India but also in the international markets as well.

The Kashmir Files started its journey at the box office with Rs 3.55 Crore on its first day of release and ended up collecting Rs 97.30 Crore in Week 1. With the growing buzz, the movie went on to collect Rs 19.15 Crore on Day 8, Rs 24.80 Crore on Day 9 and Rs 26.20 Crore on Day 10, taking the total box office collection to Rs 167.45 Crore.

Speaking about its performance on Day 11, the movie collected around Rs 12.40 Crore taking the total eleven-day box office collection to Rs 179.85 Crore. The Kashmir Files is now on its way to sail past the 200-Crore mark, beating Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh's sports drama '83.
