12th Fail, which was released on October 27, has been well-received by moviegoers. Notably, the drama movie added an impressive Rs 1.5 crore net on its first Monday, October 3, surpassing its Friday collections.

Talking more about its collection, 12th Fail on Monday recorded 10.04 percent Hindi occupancy. It opened alongside Kangana Ranaut's Tejas and collected Rs 1.2 crore on its opening day. It showed growth of Rs 3.12 crore on Sunday, with 24 percent occupancy. It has been performing better than Tejas, which is yet to cross Rs 5 crore.

Based on Twelfth Fail (novel) by Anurag Pathak, the film is directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and also stars Anant V Joshi, Anshumaan Pushkar, Sanjay Bishnoi, and Priyanshu Chatterjee. It released worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
