Adipurush Hindi Day 1 Box Office Collection: Only a few hours are left before the grand release of Adipurush which stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. The epic drama has been making waves ever since the trailer was unveiled. Movie buffs have been eagerly waiting for Om Raut's directorial as it is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana.

After the audience expressed their displeasure over the CGI, the makers re-worked and introduced a power-packed trailer. Ahead of the release, the film was embroiled into a controversy after a video featuring Om Raut and Kriti Sanon went viral. In the clip, the director greeted the actress (who is playing Janaki) and kissed her on the cheeks outside the Tirupati temple. His gesture sparked a controversy as a political leader and a priest slammed him for the same.

DAY 1 BOX OFFICE COLLECTION OF ADIPURUSH (HINDI)

As the film is releasing in multiple languages, experts believe that it will have an advantage. Business expert and film critic Joginder Tuteja predicted the first day collection of Adipurush and said that the movie will earn Rs 30 crore in the Hindi-speaking market. He tweeted, "#Adipurush set to take 30 cr+ opening in JUST THE HINDI VERSION."

Journalist Himesh Mankad predicted that the much-awaited flick will perform well on the opening day. "#Adipurush ready to go beyond all the expectations and predictions. The most optimistic - the most pessimistic - all ready to be surpassed if advances are anything to go by. A 30 plus opening, with huge chance of 35 crore start too in Hindi. All eyes on tomorrow," he wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Taran Adarsh shared an update about the advance booking of Adipurush in PVR and INOX. He revealed that 3,77,818 tickets have been sold till date.

Adipurush, which also stars Sunny Singh, Vatsal Sheth, Devdatta Nage, is one of the biggest releases of the year. According to reports, Adipurush is one of the most expensive Indian movies to be ever made. It had a whopping budget of over Rs 500 crore.
