Animal Box Office Day 6: Ranbir’s Action Drama To Cross 500Cr Worldwide; Continues To Be Unstoppable

Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's first collaboration Animal has been talk of the town ever since it was announced. The action drama, which came with a stellar cast of Ranbir, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Suresh Oberoi and Bobby Deol in the lead, had opened to stupendous reviews from the audience. In fact, Animal has managed to emerge as a giant tsunami not in India but across the world and has been creating records at the box office.

The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial recorded as the second highest opening day collection ever in India and has been maintaining a strong hold at the box office. In fact, Animal went on to cross Rs 100 crore mark worldwide on the first and Rs 200 crores mark worldwide on the second day of collection. And while Animal did witness a slight dip in collection, it has managed to make Rs 481 crores in five days of release.

Given its strong hold at the ticket windows, Animal is expected to cross Rs 500 crores worldwide today (day 6/first Wednesday). Interestingly, Animal has managed to cross the worldwide lifetime collection of Salman Khan's Tiger 3 which was around Rs 462.73 crores and is giving a tough time to Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Pathaan.

Meanwhile, Animal is all set to cross Rs 300 crores in India today and has managed to become Ranbir's second highest grossing film after Sanju. It will be interesting to see if the movie will continue its winning streak in the coming days

Interestingly, Animal is witnessing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal's biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema". Meanwhile, Ranbir's Animal has managed to crush Sam Bahadur at the box office and this is evident with a huge gap in their collections.
