Animal Box Office Day 11: Ranbir Kapoor’s Film Crosses 700Cr Globally, Creates History- Deets Inside

Ranbir Kapoor, who started the year with Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar with Shraddha Kapoor, has now emerged as the box office king, courtesy of his recent release Animal. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal is touted to be a gory action drama and has been roaring loud at the box office since the first day. This Ranbir Kapoor starrer has been doing wonders not just in India but across the world too.

The movie had emerged as Ranbir's highest opener ever and even went on to beat the lifetime collection of the 2018 release Sanju to become the actor's highest grosser ever. Animal has undoubtedly emerged as a giant storm at the box office and is making heads turn with its earth-shattering number and it doesn't seem to slow down any time soon.

Now as per a recent update, Animal has managed to create a history at the global box office as it has managed to cross Rs 700 crores worldwide. To note, Animal has become the first A-rated Indian movie to achieve this history. It will be interesting to see how Animal will be performing in the coming days.

To note, Animal has also managed to cross Rs 432 crores in India in 10 days and is now eyeing Rs 450 crores. The movie is expected to cross the mark today (day 11/second Monday).

Interestingly, Animal is witnessing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh's biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema". Meanwhile, Ranbir's Animal has managed to crush Sam Bahadur at the box office and this is evident with a huge gap in their collections.
