Animal Advance Booking Day 1: Ranbir’s Film To Mint Over 22Cr; Beats Jawan, Pathaan To Achieve THIS Milestone
After the stupendous success of Kabir Singh, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been making headlines for his upcoming project Animal. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in the lead, the movie has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. In fact, the trailer of this action drama has left everyone wanting more.
And while Animal has managed to create substantial buzz among the fans, the makers had begun the advance booking for the movie almost a week before its release and it has witnessed a phenomenal response so far. To note, the advance booking for Animal opened on November 25. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Animal has managed to mint Rs 19.7 crores so far from advance booking is likely to cross the 22crores mark today. Well, if the reports turned out to be true, Animal will manage to beat the advance day booking collection of Salman Khan's Tiger 3 which around Rs 22.97 crores.
This isn't all. This Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has also managed to beat Shah Rukh Khan's biggest releases of the year - Pathaan and Jawan - in terms of advance ticket sales for Hindi version. Yes! You read it right. As per Sacnilk, around 557K advance tickets were sold for Jawan while it was 556K for Pathaan. However, with still a day left for Animal release, over 575K tickets have been sold for the Hindi version so far and the number is likely to increase during the day.
Meanwhile, it is also reported that Animal expected to mint Rs 55 crores in Hindi, Rs 10 crores in Telugu and around Rs 30 crores overseas on the opening day. If the reports turned out to be true, Animal is likely to beat Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan and will become the second highest opener of all times. The report also suggested that while Animal is expected to make a collection of Rs 95 crore so far worldwide, however, the numbers are likely to vary with the word of mouth. It will be interesting to see if Animal will cross Rs 100 crore mark worldwide.
