Ranbir
Kapoor,
who
started
the
year
2023
with
his
romantic
comedy
Tu
Jhoothi
Main
Makkaar,
is
now
making
headlines
for
his
recent
release.
We
are
talking
about
Sandeep
Reddy
Vanga's
directorial
Animal
which
is
touted
to
be
a
gory
action
drama.
Also
starring
Rashmika
Mandanna,
Anil
Kapoor
and
Bobby
Deol
in
the
lead,
Animal
has
been
one
of
the
most
anticipated
releases
of
the
year.
From
the
first
look
poster,
teaser,
trailer
or
songs,
everything
about
Animal
has
been
adding
on
to
audience's
excitement.
Needless
to
say,
Animal
has
managed
to
create
substantial
buzz
and
as
the
makers
opened
the
advance
booking
a
week
before
the
movie's
release,
this
Sandeep
Reddy
Vanga
directorial
went
on
receive
a
thunderous
response.
According
to
a
report
published
in
Sacnilk,
Animal
has
minted
Rs
33.97
crores
from
advance
booking
with
the
sale
of
13
lakh
tickets
so
far.
Interestingly,
Animal
has
managed
to
create
a
record
before
release
and
went
on
to
beat
Shah
Rukh
Khan's
Pathaan
in
terms
of
advance
booking
and
recorded
the
second
highest
advance
booking
collection
ever
after
Jawan.
To
note,
Pathaan
had
minted
Rs
31.18
crores
while
Jawan
had
earned
Rs
37.24
crores.
Interestingly,
Animal
will
be
releasing
in
Hindi,
Tamil,
Telugu,
Kannada
and
Malayalam.
Meanwhile,
Ranbir
recently
opened
up
about
the
ongoing
comparison
between
Animal
and
Kabir
Singh.
Talking
to
Variety,
Ranbir
said,
"Well,
to
be
honest,
I
was
really
drawn
to
the
script
of
'Animal'.
It's
a
unique
and
intense
story
that
immediately
caught
my
attention.
As
for
watching
'Arjun
Reddy'
or
'Kabir
Singh',
I
must
admit
that
I
did
watch
both
films
and
found
them
to
be
incredibly
powerful
and
impactful.
However,
my
decision
to
accept
'Animal'
was
not
solely
based
on
those
films.
It
was
more
about
the
script,
the
character,
and
the
opportunity
to
work
with
Sandeep
Reddy
Vanga"
