Ranbir’s Animal Goes Wild; To ‘Eat’ Tiger 3 By Crossing Its Lifetime Collection In India & Worldwide On Day 5?

Ranbir Kapoor is on cloud nine these days and rightfully so. After all, his recent release Animal has taken the box office like a giant tsunami and is unstoppable after four days of release. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial, Animal is an action drama which also features Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna and it has opened to a thunderous response from the audience.
Animal became Ranbir and Bobby's highest opener and scored the second highest opening of all times (Rs 63.8 crores) after Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. This isn't all. The Ranbir starrer also went on to become the second fastest Hindi film to cross Rs 100 crore mark and the fastest Hindi film to cross Rs 200 crores mark. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Animal continues its winning streak on day 4 despite witnessing a first dip in collection and has managed to pass the crucial Monday test.
Interestingly, Animal has been roaring loud not just in India but across the world too and has managed to cross Rs 360 crores mark in three days of release and is expected to cross Rs 400 crores on day 4. And now, as per a recent update, Animal is set to crush Salman Khan's Tiger 3 at the box office on the fifth day
Reportedly, given Animal's stronghold at the box office, this Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial is likely to cross the lifetime collection of Tiger 3 in India and worldwide on day. For the uninitiated, Tiger 3 has made a collection of Rs 280.24 crores in India and minted Rs 462.73 crores worldwide. It will be interesting to see if Animal will be able to eat up Tiger 3 on day 5 and create new records in the coming days.
Interestingly, Animal is witnessing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal's biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema". Meanwhile, Ranbir's Animal has managed to crush Sam Bahadur at the box office and this is evident with a huge gap in their collections.
