Animal Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Ranbir Kapoor’s Film To Beat Salman’s Tiger 3 On Release Day?

The year 2023 has been quite favourable for Ranbir Kapoor. After all, his first release of the year - Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar with Shraddha Kapoor did manage to win hearts. And now, the handsome hunk is making headlines for his upcoming release Animal. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the action thriller also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead.

Needless to say, Animal is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Interestingly, the makers treated the fans with an intriguing trailer today and it has left everyone in awe of Ranbir's dark avatar. In fact, the fans are eager to watch Ranbir's chemistry with Rashmika and his bond with Anil Kapoor who plays the role of his father in Animal.

As Animal has been creating substantial buzz in the town, there have been speculations about the movie's box office collection. Now, according to a report published in Sacnilk, Animal is expected to mint Rs 50 crores at the box office on its day of release. Well, if the reports turned out to be true, Animal will manage to beat the first day collection of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 (Rs 44.5 crores). However, the official numbers will be out soon.

Meanwhile, Ranbir recently opened up about the ongoing comparison between Animal and Kabir Singh. Talking to Variety, Ranbir said, "Well, to be honest, I was really drawn to the script of 'Animal'. It's a unique and intense story that immediately caught my attention. As for watching 'Arjun Reddy' or 'Kabir Singh', I must admit that I did watch both films and found them to be incredibly powerful and impactful. However, my decision to accept 'Animal' was not solely based on those films. It was more about the script, the character, and the opportunity to work with Sandeep Reddy Vanga"
