Animal BO Day 3: Ranbir’s Film Creates History; Beats Jawaan, Pathaan To Become Fastest Hindi Movie To….

Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's recent collaboration Animal has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. After all, the movie not just brought Ranbir in a never seen before avatar but turned out to be Vanga's most violent film ever. Also starring Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor in the lead, Animal has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year and has been roaring loud at the box office since the first day.
It opened with a phenomenal collection of Rs 63.8 crores and turned out to be Ranbir and Bobby's highest opener and even recorded second highest advance day booking for the first day after Jawan. Animal continued to witness an upward trend on the second day and entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club on day 2.
And now, Animal continues to have a strong hold at the box office on day 3 (first Sunday) and has managed to cross Rs 200 crore mark today. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Animal has managed to rake in Rs 70 crores today which took the overall collection of the film to Rs 200.07 crores. While Animal has crossed Rs 200 crore mark in 3 days, it has managed to create history and has emerged as the fastest Hindi film to cross the mark.
Yes, Animal has managed to beat Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Pathaan to become the fastest Hindi film to cross Rs 200 crore mark. For the uninitiated, Jawan and Pathaan had achieved the feat in 4 days. Looks like Animal is moving forward to shatter Jawan and Pathaan records.
As Animal continues to be unstoppable, it will be interesting to see how it will fare on the first Monday. Interestingly, Animal is witnessing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal's biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema". Meanwhile, Ranbir's Animal has managed to crush Sam Bahadur at the box office and this is evident with a huge gap in their collections.
