Animal Box Office Day 3 Prediction: Ranbir’s Action Drama To Cross Rs 150 Today; Heads For 175Cr

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year and there are no second thoughts about it. After all, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has not just shown Ranbir in a never seen before avatar, he also brought together a stellar cast including Ranbir, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna in this much talked about action thriller. Given the substantial buzz around the movie, Animal has witnessed a grand opening at the box office

With an opening day collection of Rs 63.8 crores, Animal has emerged as Ranbir and Bobby's highest opener ever. And given the positive response and the word of mouth, this Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial continues to witness an upward trend in the collections. In fact, Animal has managed to cross Rs 100 crores in just two days of release. Reportedly, Animal made a collection of Rs 66 crores on day 2 and took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 129.8 crores.

And now, given Animal's winning streak, it is expected that the Ranbir Kapoor starrer will be having a more successful third day (first Sunday) at the box office. In fact, Animal is likely to cross Rs 150 crores today and will be inching towards Rs 175 crores mark now.

Interestingly, Animal is witnessing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal's biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema". Meanwhile, Ranbir's Animal has managed to crush Sam Bahadur at the box office and this is evident with a huge gap in their collections.
