Animal Box Office Day 13 Prediction: Ranbir’s Film Remains Steady As It Inches Towards 470 Crores?

Ranbir Kapoor has been the talk of the town ever since he was roped in for Sandeep Reddy Vanga's recent directorial Animal. The movie, which is an action drama, marked Ranbir's first collaboration with Vanga and the actor director duo has done wonders with fans going all gaga over the movie. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri, Animal has opened up to a phenomenal response at the box office.

The movie witnessed the second highest opening ever after Jawan and has been roaring loud at the box office. Animal has been creating new records almost every day and has been giving a tough fight to Shah Rukh Khan's biggest releases of the year - Jawan and Pathaan. And while Animal has managed to cross Rs 400 crores during the second weekend, it has now managed to achieve another milestone.

Interestingly, Animal has managed to cross Rs 450 crores on day 12 (second Tuesday). Yes! The action drama witnessed a slight drop in the collections and minted Rs 13.32 crores which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 458.12 crores.

And now as Animal is witnessing 13th day of release, it is expected to remain steady at the box office and eye on crossing Rs 470 crores today (day 13/second Wednesday). In fact, Animal has managed to rake in Rs 8 lakhs from early morning shows and the numbers are expected to increase during the day. Given Animal's stronghold at the box office, there is a possibility about the movie crossing Rs 500 crores mark this week.

Interestingly, Animal is witnessing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh's biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema". Meanwhile, Ranbir's Animal has managed to crush Sam Bahadur at the box office and this is evident with a huge gap in their collections.
