Animal Box Office Collection Day 31: Ranbir’s Film Sees Growth On Last Day Of 2023; Likely To Cross 545Cr

Ranbir Kapoor has been all over the news these days and rightfully so. After all, his recent release Animal has managed to set the box office on fire. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal happens to be action drama which also featured Triptii Dimri, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. It had opened to rave reviews from the audience and went on to register several records to its name.

From becoming Ranbir's highest opener to his highest grossing movie, Animal has managed to roar loud at the box office for a month now. In fact, while it has been facing a tough competition from Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki and Prabhas' starrer Salaar, Animal has still managed to have good grip at the ticket windows. Although Animal has been witnessing continuous drop in collections, it has witnessed a significant during the last weekend of the year.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Animal has raked in Rs 1.5 crores yesterday (day 30/ fifth Saturday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 543.37 crores. And given the trend, this Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial is expected to rake in Rs 1.5-2 crores today, i.e., last day of 2023 (day 31/ fifth Sunday). It is reported that Animal is likely to cross Rs 545 crores today.

Talking about Animal's box office success, Sandeep Reddy Vanga told IndiaToday.in, "I was expecting the film to do well, I knew it would do 600 crores to 700 crores but wasn't expecting these huge numbers. It has already crossed the 800 crores mark, which was a surprise for me and I am very happy with the collection. Even with the reviews, the film has done great numbers at the box office and as a filmmaker, I am happy."
