Animal Box Office Day 11: Ranbir’s Film Crosses 700Cr Worldwide; Beats Gadar 2 Lifetime Global Collection

Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor's first collaboration Animal has been one of the biggest releases of the year. Also starring Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri in the lead, Animal has opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics. In fact, Animal has emerged as the biggest opener for Ranbir Kapoor and has been roaring loud at the box office.

Interestingly, as Animal has been winning hearts, it has also been ruling the box office. It managed to cross the lifetime collection of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 and also emerged as Ranbir's highest grosser ever. Animal is not just doing wonders in India but also creating ripples at the worldwide box office and creating new records.

As per the recent update, Animal has managed to rake in Rs 700 crores in 10 days of release and has become the first A-rated Indian movie to achieve this feat. Interestingly, Animal has also managed to beat the worldwide lifetime collection of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's much talked about Gadar 2. To note, Gadar 2 had minted Rs 691.08 crores at the worldwide box office. Meanwhile, Gadar 2 is now eyeing to cross Rs 750 crores today (day 11/ second Monday)

Interestingly, Animal is witnessing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh's biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema". Meanwhile, Ranbir's Animal has managed to crush Sam Bahadur at the box office and this is evident with a huge gap in their collections.
