Animal Box Office Collection Day 3: Ranbir Kapoor’s Film Crosses 200 Cr In India During Opening Weekend

Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal has taken over the box office with a storm and seems to be unstoppable. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and also starring Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in the lead, Animal has opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics and is touted to be one of Ranbir's best performances ever.

In fact, it has been ruling the box office since the first day and emerged as the second highest opener ever after Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. And while Animal has been growing with every day, it started with a collection of Rs 63.8 crores and managed to cross Rs 100 crores in just two days. Witnessing an upward trend in the collection during the opening weekend, Animal has managed to add another feat to its name.

Wondering what it is? Well, Animal has managed to cross the Rs 200 crores mark in just three days of release. To note, as per a recent update from Sacnilk, this Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has managed to rake in 70 crores on day 3 (first Sunday) which has taken the overall collection of the movies to Rs 200.07 crores.

As Animal continues to be unstoppable, it will be interesting to see how it will fare on the first Monday. Interestingly, Animal is witnessing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal's biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema". Meanwhile, Ranbir's Animal has managed to crush Sam Bahadur at the box office and this is evident with a huge gap in their collections.
