Sandeep
Reddy
Vanga
has
been
one
of
the
finest
filmmakers
in
India
and
his
debut
in
Bollywood
-
Kabir
Singh
managed
to
create
a
stir
in
the
industry.
The
movie,
starring
Shahid
Kapoor
and
Kiara
Advani,
was
a
massive
hit
and
ever
since
then,
fans
have
been
waiting
for
the
director's
next
project.
The
wait
is
over
as
his
much
anticipated
movie
Animal
is
finally
hitting
the
screens
today.
Starring
Anil
Kapoor,
Ranbir
Kapoor,
Rashmika
Mandanna
and
Bobby
Deol
in
the
lead,
Animal
is
touted
to
be
a
gory
action
drama
and
the
trailer
has
already
left
the
audience
wanting
more.
To
note,
this
happens
to
be
Ranbir's
first
collaboration
with
Sandeep
Reddy
Vanga
and
it
has
managed
to
leave
the
intrigued.
This
was
evident
with
the
advance
booking
report
of
Animal
which
was
quite
phenomenal.
And
while
there
has
been
a
buzz
about
the
opening
day
collection
of
Animal,
it
is
expected
to
take
over
the
box
office
like
a
storm.
According
to
a
report
published
in
Sacnilk,
Animal
is
expected
to
make
an
opening
day
collection
of
Rs
60
crores.
While
the
official
numbers
are
yet
to
be
out,
if
the
reports
turned
out
to
be
true,
Animal
will
be
beating
Shah
Rukh
Khan's
Pathaan
and
become
the
second
highest
opener
after
Jawan.
For
the
uninitiated,
Pathaan
had
minted
Rs
57
crores
on
its
day
of
release
while
Jawan
made
a
collection
of
Rs
75
crores.
Besides,
the
Sandeep
Reddy
Vanga
directorial
has
also
managed
to
beat
Shah
Rukh
Khan's
biggest
releases
of
the
year
-
Pathaan
and
Jawan
-
in
terms
of
advance
ticket
sales
for
the
Hindi
version.
Yes!
You
read
it
right.
As
per
Sacnilk,
around
557K
advance
tickets
were
sold
for
Jawan
while
it
was
556K
for
Pathaan.
However,
with
still
a
day
left
for
Animal
release,
over
10
lakh
tickets
have
been
sold
for
the
Hindi
version.
