Animal Day 12 Advance Booking Report

Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna's first collaboration Animal, which has been directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. And now that the movie is out in the theatres, it has opened to rave responses from the audience and critics. Released amid a substantial buzz in the town, Animal managed to take over the box office like giant storm.

After an impressive start at the box office, Animal emerged as the highest opened for Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol and has been creating records at the box office almost every day. Interestingly, Animal even managed to enter the coveted Rs 400 club during the second weekend and is eyeing to cross Rs 450 crores at the box office.

And now, the advance booking report of day 12, i.e., second Tuesday is out and looks like Animal will be witnessing a significant drop in the footfalls to theatres. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Animal is likely to slow down at the box office and will be struggling to make a double digit collection from the advance booking.

Meanwhile, Animal has managed to cross Rs 700 crore mark worldwide and made a collection of Rs 717 crores globally so far. This isn't all. Animal has also managed to beat the worldwide lifetime collection of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel Gadar 2. To note, Gadar 2 has raked in Rs 691.08 crores worldwide.

Interestingly, Animal is witnessing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh's biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema". Meanwhile, Ranbir's Animal has managed to crush Sam Bahadur at the box office and this is evident with a huge gap in their collections.
