Interestingly, Animal has been roaring loud at the box office and has been going strong at the box office. After starting the journey with Rs 63.8 crores and turned out to be Ranbir's highest opener, Animal has been giving a tough fight to Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Pathaan and recording new achievements every day.
While the action drama minted Rs 38.25 crores on day 5 (first Tuesday), it took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 283.74 crores so far. And now, as per the recent update, Animal is all set to cross Rs 300 crores in India today and continue its winning streak at the box office. It is evident that Animal is unstoppable in India. But this isn't all. Animal is also set to cross Rs 500 crores worldwide and has certainly emerged as a box office hit. It will be interesting to see if the movie will continue its winning streak in the coming days
Interestingly, Animal is witnessing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal's biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema". Meanwhile, Ranbir's Animal has managed to crush Sam Bahadur at the box office and this is evident with a huge gap in their collections.
