Animal Box Office Day 7 Prediction: Sandeep’s Film Inches Towards 350Cr, To Become Ranbir’s Biggest Hit Today?

Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal has emerged as one of the biggest releases of the year. Touted to be a gory action drama, this Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, which also features Anil Kapoor, Suresh Oberoi and Bobby Deol in the lead, is roaring loud at the box office. Animal has opened to rave reviews and it witnessing earth shattering numbers almost everyday.

After becoming Ranbir's highest opener, Animal made the headlines recently after it crossed the lifetime collection of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 which was around Rs 282.30 (as mentioned by Bollywood Hungama). And now, as Animal is completing a week of release today, Animal continues to have a strong hold at the box office despite witnessing a continuous drop in collections.
To note, Animal had reportedly raked in Rs 30 crores on day 6 (first Wednesday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 312.96 crores. Given the buzz and the movie's hold at the ticket windows, Animal is now inching towards a new milestone on day 7 (first Thursday). Reportedly, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial is now inching towards Rs 350 crores mark and is likely to cross the lifetime collection of Ranbir's 2018 release Sanju.

For the uninitiated, Sanju had made the lifetime collection of Rs 342.53 crores in India. And with Animal standing at Rs 312.96 crores, it is expected to rake in around Rs 30 crores which will help it cross the lifetime collection of Sanju. It will be interesting to see if the movie will continue its winning streak in the coming days

Interestingly, Animal is witnessing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal's biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema". Meanwhile, Ranbir's Animal has managed to crush Sam Bahadur at the box office and this is evident with a huge gap in their collections.
