Animal Box Office Day 8: Ranbir’s Film Beats Gadar 2, Jawan; Records Highest 2nd Friday Collection

Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Madanna have collaborated for the first time in Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Animal and their sizzling chemistry in the action drama has set the screens on fire. This much anticipated movie also featured Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri in the lead and opened to rave reviews from the audience. From the posters to the songs, dialogues to performances, everything about Animal has been the talk of the town. And while Animal has completed 8 days of release, the movie is going strong at the box office.

Interestingly, Animal has managed to rake in Rs 300 crores in six days of release and continues to be unstoppable at the box office. In fact, as per a recent update shared by Sacnilk, Animal has raked in Rs 23.34 crores on day 8 (second Friday) which took the overall collection of the movie Rs 361.08 crores. To note, out of Rs 23.34 crores, Animal has minted Rs 22 crores in Hindi and is going strong at the box office.

As Animal has been creating new records at the box office, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has managed to beat Gadar 2 and Jawan and recorded the highest day 8 collection at the box office. For the uninitiated, Gadar 2 had earned Rs 20.5 crores on day 8 while Jawan minted Rs 20.1 crores. On the other hand, Animal has also recorded the highest second Friday collection.

Interestingly, Animal is witnessing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal's biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema". Meanwhile, Ranbir's Animal has managed to crush Sam Bahadur at the box office and this is evident with a huge gap in their collections.
