Animal Vs Sam Bahadur Box Office Collection Day 1: Ranbir Starrer Beats Vicky's War Drama At National Chains

Animal vs Sam Bahadur box office day 1: Two mega films released on Friday (December 1). The first day of the last month of 2023 turned out to be a blockbuster as movie buffs were able to watch two films from different genres. While Ranbir Kapoor is roaring at the box office with Animal, Vicky Kaushal has packed a solid punch with Sam Bahadur.

Considering the buzz for Animal, trade experts predicted that the masala entertainer would set the cash registers jingling. And the movie didn't disappoint. Sandeep Reddy Venga is here to spill magic in the Hindi speaking belts with Animal after enjoying a fabulous run in the theatres with Kabir Singh, which released in 2019. Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer had raked in big moolah, emerging as the second highest-grosser of the year.

Things look bright for Animal as the flick is set to earn over Rs 40 crore on its opening day at the box office. The figures at the national chains look impressive, signifying the craze for the film.

ANIMAL VS SAM BAHADUR DAY 1 BOX OFFICE COLLECTION

Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the first day box office collection of Animal and Sam Bahadur at national chains till 7pm. He revealed that Ranbir Kapoor starrer has gained an edge over Vicky Kaushal's war drama.

Guess what? Animal has earned seven times more than that of Sam Bahadur in the national chains across the country till evening 7pm. Yes, you read that right! The action thriller has collected Rs 22.60 crore till the time of reporting. Check out the viral tweet right here!

Adarsh said that Sam Bahadur collected Rs 3.40 crore at the national chains till 7pm. While PVR Inox contributed Rs 2.80 crore, Cinepolis' share stood at Rs 60 lakhs.

Sam Bahadur co-starring Sanya Malhotra, Sana Fatima Shaikh and Neeraj Kabi has been directed by Meghna Gulzar. The biographical drama is based on the life of Sam Manekshaw, India's first field marshal.

Animal, which is one of the longest Indian films, boasts of stars like Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Tripti Dimri, Bobby Deol, Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra and Suresh Oberoi.
