Animal Vs Sam Bahadur Box Office Day 3: Vicky’s Film Crosses 25Cr As Ranbir’s Action Drama Enters 200Cr Club

Indian box office clashes often leave the audience intrigued and the month of December has witnessed one such clash with two big movies having a face off at the ticket windows. This time, Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal, which has been one of the biggest releases of the year, has been witnessing a box office clash with Meghna Gulzar's much anticipated war drama Sam Bahadur and it has got everyone excited.

To note, Animal has been an action drama which also features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol in the lead while Sam Bahadur was based on the life of India's first field marshal Sam Manekshaw and also starred Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Despite different genres, both Animal and Sam Bahadur have managed to intrigue the audience.

And while there have been speculations about their box office collection of Animal and Sam Bahadur, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has clearly crushed Vicky Kaushal starrer with a massive gap and it continues to be the same on day 3. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sam Bahadur has shown growth on the third day and made a collection of Rs 10.30 crores which took the overall collections to Rs 25.55 crores.

It is evident that Sam Bahadur is struggling at the box office despite positive reviews from the audience and this is because Animal is roaring loud at the box office. To note, Animal has made a collection of Rs 70 crores on day 3 and crossed Rs 200 crores mark.

It will be interesting to see how both Animal and Sam Bahadur will fare during the opening weekend and which records the movies will break in the coming days. Earlier, talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema".
