Bheed Box Office Collection Day 2: Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar's new flick released on Friday (March 24) in the theatres. At a time when a rom-com (Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar) and an action thriller (Pathaan) have worked wonders in the cinema halls, Anubhav Sinha has come up with a hard-hitting drama that is set against the backdrop of COVID-19 lockdown. The film has been making waves ever since the trailer was unveiled. While a certain section of social media users criticised Bheed for 'negative depiction of lockdown', the critics and movie buffs have appreciated the storyline and impeccable performances of the artists.

Bheed has received a strong reaction on social media, garnering interest from the youngsters. Several prominent critics have praised the director for showcasing the plight of the poor, who had to face turbulence during the COVID-19 induced lockdown in 2020.
Despite the critical acclaim, Bheed has failed to register solid numbers at the box office. While trade experts never expected the film to rake in big moolah, it didn't witness a big growth on the second day.

Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the day one box office collection of Bheed on Twitter. He revealed that the film collected Rs 29 lakhs in the national multiplexes across the country. The film registered low numbers compared to Keanu Reeves starrer John Wick: Chapter 4, which minted over Rs 3 crore at the three leading national chains.

How Other Films Performed?
While Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar raked in Rs 1.11 crore, Rani Mukerji's Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway collected Rs 60 lakhs at the national chains (PVR, Cinepolis and INOX). Adarsh shared the collection of the films on his official Twitter handle.
Bheed Box Office Collection Day 2: How Much Film Earned?
Bheed, which has been written by Anubhav Sinha, Saumya Tiwari and Sonali Jain, didn't register significant growth on Saturday (March 25). Although the film couldn't rake in huge moolah, the mouth-of-the-word publicity is expected to help it in gaining momentum at the box office before Bhola arrives in the theatres.
