Bholaa Day 5 Box Office Collection: Ajay Devgn, Tabu’s Film Witnesses Sharp Decline, Earns THIS Much

Bholaa Day 5 Box Office Collection: Amid huge buzz and expectations, Ajay Devgn and Tabu's Bholaa finally got released on the occasion of Ram Navami (March 30) after a long wait. Directed by Devgn himself, it is the official Hindi remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj's 2019 hit Kaithi and the trailer left everyone excited to watch it on the silver screen.

However, Bholaa had an okayish start at the box office despite Ram Navami and the film took an opening of Rs 11.20 crore. As the second day was a working Friday, the action thriller witnessed a dip and did a business of Rs 7.40. However, the film jumped over Saturday and Sunday.

AJAY DEVGN BHOLAA MONDAY BOX OFFICE COLLECTION

In the four-day extended weekend, Ajay Devgn's latest release put up a decent total of Rs 44.28 crore. While everyone was eagerly awaiting to see if Bholaa would be able to pass the Monday test or not, the film witnessed a sharp decline on the fifth day of its release. Yes, you read that right!

As per the early estimates, Devgn's Bholaa earned around Rs 4 crores on Day 5, however, a better performance was expected for a decent total in the first week. However, the final numbers are still awaited.

BHOLAA NEEDS TO MAINTAIN MOMENTUM IN COMING DAYS

After its release on Thursday, Bholaa mostly received favourable reviews from critics who praised the storyline as well as strong performances. While Bholaa underperformed on Monday, we just hope that it maintains the momentum at the ticket window in coming days.

The footfalls need to multiply over the next few days for Bholaa to reach a healthy total. This week, on April 7, Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur's Gumraah is going to hit the theatres and it'll be interesting to see if how the film is going to affect Bholaa in the next week at box office.

For the unversed, Gumraah is the Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil hit Thadam featuring Arun Vijay and Vidya Pradeep.
