Dream Girl 2 Box Office Collection Day 6 Prediction: Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday starrer Dream Girl 2, released on August 25, has maintained a steady pace at the box office.

Helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the mass masala comedy has scored a half century in five days. The film opened to decent numbers, with a collection of Rs 10.69 crore, and saw a surge on weekends.

Meanwhile, it is expected to witness a slight surge on Wednesday, especially with the Raksha Bandhan holiday in the northern belt.

The much-anticipated sequel to the 2019 hit movie of the same name, Dream Girl 2, on Tuesday, day 5, managed to rake in Rs 5.87 crore.

On Monday, day 4, it made Rs 5.42 crore, Rs 14.02 crore on its first Saturday, day 2, and Rs 16 crore on its first Sunday, day 3. The film's total collection stands at Rs 52.00 cr in India, net.

Further, given the Raksha Bandhan holidays and Dream Girl 2 family theme, the film is expected to see an upswing in its numbers on day 6. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, on Wednesday, August 30, the film may earn 7 cr, taking its total collection to 59 crore.

It will have an overall 12.24% Hindi occupancy on Wednesday. With this, its tortola worldwide collection will go up to 70 million.

Dream Girl 2 focuses on the life of a young man named Karamveer from Mathura who cross-dresses and disguises himself as a woman named Pooja to earn quick money. Thai causes chaos and confusion in his love life with his girlfriend Pari, played by Ananya Panday.

Backed by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor, it also has Paresh Rawal, Seema Pahwa, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee, Rajpal Yadav, and Manjot Singh in key roles.

In the first installment, Nushrratt Bharuccha was the lead actress of Dream Girl, who has been replaced by Ananya in Part 2.
