Dream Girl 2 Day 20 Prediction: Ayushmann’s Film Remains Steady After 100 cr Mark Despite Gadar 2-Jawan Mania

The Indian box office has been witnessing a massive clash these days. We are talking about the ongoing competition between Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 and Shah Rukh Khan's recent release Jawan. Both movies have been giving each other a tough fight, it has been affecting the business of other films.

However, there is one film which has managed to carve a niche for itself amid this massive box office fight. We are talking about Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday starrer Dream Girl 2. The movie, which had released on August 25, has been the much awaited sequel to Ayushmann's 2019 release Dream Girl.

Helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Dream Girl 2 opened to mixed reviews from the audience and was expected to have a slow run at the box office. However, with a consistent growth, Dream Girl 2 has managed to enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club recently. And now, the movie is once again maintaining a steady growth at the box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Dream Girl 2 will be garnering Rs 48 lakhs on its day 20th of release (today).

While the exact numbers will be out soon, if the reports turned out to be true, the total collection of Dream Girl 2 will stand at Rs 101.09 crore. It is evident that despite witnessing a tough competition from Gadar 2 and Jawan, Dream Girl 2 is growing slowly but steadily. It will be interesting to see how it will fair in the coming days.

Interestingly, Dream Girl 2 marks Ayushmann's fourth film in the 100cr club after Dream Girl, Bala and Badhaai Ho. Meanwhile, Ayushmann is over the moon with the success of Dream Girl 2.
