Ayushmann Khurrana Dream Girl 2 Box Office Day 1 Collection
Ayushmann Khurrana's Dream Girl 2 kicked off on an impressive note, as it won't be facing much competition from cinema heavyweights Gadar 2, Jailer, and OMG 2, which have been running in theatres for two weeks.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the sequel earned Rs 9.7 crore on its opening day and had an overall 29.51% Hindi occupancy on Friday. The figure is similar to its predecessor, which minted 10.50 crore on its first day.
Dream Girl had turned out to be Ayushmann's biggest hit and made Rs 142 crore in its lifetime collection. Dream Girl 2's success stands important for Ayushmann, as his last four films, including Chandigarh, Kare Aashiqui, Anek, Doctor G, and An Action Hero, were disasters at the box office.
