Dream Girl 2 Box Office: Ayushmann Khurrana's comic timing and charm helped Dream Girl 2 have a solid opening weekend. The film seemed unstoppable as it stormed the box office during its initial days. However, as it entered its fourth day in theaters, the film's momentum appeared to have decelerated.

Known for his choice of acting prowess, Ayushmann Khurrana has carved a niche for himself in the Hindi film industry. From his debut in Vicky Donor to Bala, and the original Dream Girl, he has consistently raised the bar.

This time around, he returned to the silver screen with Dream Girl 2, a comedy-drama directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, which has garnered critical acclaim and impressive box office figures. As per early estimates, a report in Sacnilk suggests that Dream Girl 2 minted around Rs 4.70 crore on the fourth day of its release, i.e., the first Monday.

The movie had raked in Rs 16 crore and Rs 14.02 crore on Day 3 and Day 2 respectively, kicking off its journey with an impressive Rs 10.60 crore, marking Khurrana's highest opening day collection. With this, the total collection of the film stands at Rs 45.41 crore. Earlier speculations had predicted that the film might cross the Rs 50 crore mark by the end of Day 4.

On August 28, Dream Girl 2 maintained an overall occupancy rate of 17.72 percent in the Hindi language across theaters. The distribution of this occupancy throughout the day was as follows:

Morning shows: 10.17 per cent
Afternoon shows: 16.44 per cent
Evening shows: 19.58 per cent
Night shows: 24.70 per cent
