Dunki Box Office Collection Day 11: SRK’s Film To See A Decent Jump On Last Day 2023; To Cross 185Cr Today

The year 2023 is coming to an end and it has turned out to be a year of Shah Rukh Khan undoubtedly. After making a thunderous comeback with Pathaan early this year, he was seen setting the box office on fire with Atlee's Jawan. And now, he is making the headlines with his third release of 2023 - Dunki. Also starring Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in key roles, Dunki is helmed by Rajkumar Hirani and is based on a relevant topic of the eponymous illegal immigration technique

Dunki was released amid substantial buzz and opened to decent reviews from the audience and critics. And while Dunki saw an average start at the box office with an opening day collection of Rs 29.2 crores, it did see an impressive jump during the opening weekend. However, Dunki has been witnessing continuous drop in numbers since Christmas.

But the second weekend and the new year celebrations came as a sigh of relief for Dunki who saw a jump in collection during the second weekend. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Dunki made a collection of Rs 9 crores yesterday (day 10/ second Saturday) taking the overall collections to Rs 176.22 crores. And given its strong hold at the box office, it is expected to rake in around Rs 10-11 crores today, i.e., on the last day of the year (day 11/ second Sunday). If Dunki managed to meet the expectations, it is likely to cross Rs 185 crores mark today.

It will be interesting to see if Dunki will be able to cross Rs 200 crores mark during the second week at the box office.

Interestingly, Dunki is witnessing a box office clash with Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran's much talked about movie Salaar and the latter is giving it a tough fight. Yes! Salaar has managed to crush Dunki and made an opening day collection of Rs 95 crores after opening to rave reviews from the audience. This isn't all. Salaar, which has been helmed by ace filmmaker Prashanth Neel, has also reportedly scored Rs 175 crores at the worldwide box office on its day of release. In fact, it has raked in Rs 400 crores worldwide so far in just 4 days of release.
