Dunki Box Office Collection Day 4 Prediction: Will SRK’s Film Cross 100Cr In 1st Weekend Amid Salaar Mania?

Shah Rukh Khan has been all over the headlines these days courtesy of his recent releas Dunki. Also starring Taapsee Pannu, Anil Grover, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani, Dunki has been directed by Rajkumar Hirani and is based on the eponymous illegal immigration technique. The movie has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year and fans havebeen expecting SRK to recreate the magic of Pathaan and Jawan

And now that Dunki has finally hit the theatres, it has opened to mixed reviews from the audience. While the audience has been in awe of SRK and Vicky's performance, they were really happy with the screenplay and felt that the movie lacked the Hirani charm. Interestingly, Dunki has witnessed a slow start at the box office with an opening day collection of Rs 29.2 crores.

While the movie witnessed a significant drop on second day, it did see a spike during the weekend. Interestingly, Dunki made a collection of Rs 25.5 crores on day 3 (first Saturday) taking the overall collection to Rs 74.82 crores. Given its hold at the ticket windows, speculations are rife if Dunki will enter the coveted Rs 100 crores club during the opening weekend. As per the ongoing trends and a report shared on Sacnilk, Dunki has made a collection of Rs 6.31 crores and is expected to rake in Rs 25-30 crores.

To note, Dunki has been witnessing a box office clash with Prabhas' much anticipated Salaar which has taken over the box office like a giant storm. In fact, Salaar had managed to enter the prestigious Rs 100 crores club on the second day itself and is going strong during the weekend too. To note, Salaar even raked in Rs 175 crores worldwide on the first day of release and has been unstoppable ever since. It will be interesting to see how long Dunki will be able to survive during Salaar mania.
