Dunki Box Office Collection Day 6 Prediction: SRK’s Film To Witness A Massive Dip As It Inches Towards 150Cr

After setting the box office on fire with Pathaan and Jawan earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan is now making headlines for his recent release Dunki. Also starring Boman Irani, Anil Grover, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal, Dunki is based on the eponymous illegal immigration technique and has managed to create a lot of buzz in the town. After all, it marks Shah Rukh's first collaboration with director Rajkumar Hirani.

And while there were speculations about Dunki recreating the magic of Pathaan and Jawan at the box office, this Rajkumar Hirani directorial has been lagging behind and is yet to cross Rs 150 crores. To note, Dunki started its box office journey with a decent collection of Rs 29.2 crores on the first day. And while it maintained a steady hold at the box office, Dunki saw a significant growth in the collections during the first weekend and Christmas celebrations.

Yes! Dunki made a collection of Rs 22.5 crores on Day 5 (first Monday/Christmas) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 128.13 crores. And now that Dunki is inching towards Rs 150 crores mark, it looks like the movie will witness a massive drop in collections today post the Christmas celebrations. Yes! Now that the Christmas long weekend is over, Dunki is likely to rake in around Rs 15-20 crores today (day 6/first Tuesday). It will be interesting to see if Dunki will be able to cross Rs 150 crores mark at the box office today in India.

Interestingly, Dunki is witnessing a box office clash with Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran's much talked about movie Salaar and the latter is giving it a tough fight. Yes! Salaar has managed to crush Dunki and made an opening day collection of Rs 95 crores after opening to rave reviews from the audience. This isn't all. Salaar, which has been helmed by ace filmmaker Prashanth Neel, has also reportedly scored Rs 175 crores at the worldwide box office on its day of release. In fact, it has raked in Rs 400 crores worldwide so far in just 4 days of release.
